Join us and our virtual tradeshow booth at the 2025 Solar Show hosted by our friends at Solar Alberta! Monday, Feb 3 - Friday 7, 2025.
Solar Alberta’s five-day annual online trade show will feature engaging content for the general public and energizing solar industry-oriented sessions. The Solar Show also includes a virtual trade show for members of the public to learn more about solar and solar-related businesses and nonprofits.
Highlights include:
Mon - Feb 3 - 7 pm - Solar Show Opening Night - This special event will feature a roundtable discussion with experienced solar sector electricians, who will share their career journeys, insights, and experiences in this dynamic field.
Tue - Feb 4 - 12 pm - Solar 101 - Learn how solar installations work in Alberta, the impact solar can have on your electricity bill, tips for finding the right solar installer, financing options, and much more.
Wed - Feb 5 - 9:30 am - Solar Ready Design - Calling all builders and solar installers! In this industry-oriented session, presenters will share important tips and tricks to ensure homes and businesses are built or renovated in a solar-ready way. This session will prepare you for the solar-ready bylaws that are being developed in Alberta today.
Wed - Feb 5 - 12 pm - Alberta's NEW Solar Incentive for Industry - Learn about how solar and other smart building upgrades have just become easier for you to do. This session will introduce the NEW Strategic Energy Management for Industry (SEMI) program that makes expert advice, solar incentives and much more available to your business.
Thu - Feb 6 - 9:30 am - Lessons Learned on the Roof - Dive into the real-world challenges of solar installations. Learn about unexpected hurdles, missteps, and how he turned setbacks into valuable learning experiences.
Thu - Feb 6 - 12 pm - Intro to Solar Energy Storage in Alberta - Explore the present and future of solar energy storage in Alberta. Panelists will dive into key practices and innovations for energy storage, covering everything from household-scale systems to large-scale solar farms.
Fri - Feb 7 - 9:30 am - The Path to Net Zero: A Deep Retrofit Planning Guide - Learn practical strategies to prioritize and sequence retrofits to take impactful steps toward net zero living.
Fri - Feb 7 - 12 pm - Solar on Farms in Alberta - Introduction to solar tailored to farmers! After we share an overview of the topic, you will also hear a personal journey of a farmer installing solar in Alberta. Hear about the impact solar has had on their energy bills and lifestyle, including unexpected benefits and lessons learned along the way.
