BVGEC receives recognition at 33rd Annual Mayor’s Volunteer Celebration

The Mayor's Volunteer Celebration is an opportunity to recognize and thank individuals or groups of hard-working volunteers for all that they give to our community. It acknowledges those people who are so important to the success of community fundraising efforts, programs, and activities, sporting events, organizations, and/or teams. 

“Volunteerism is the backbone of any vibrant community. Here in Canmore, time and time again, I am blown away by the incredible contributions of volunteers. These last few years have not been easy, and all of the volunteers nominated this year have shown creativity, resilience, and genuine concern for others throughout the pandemic,” said Canmore Mayor, Sean Krausert.

“There are no longer categories and there are no award recipients. We recognized each nominee equally, as all nominees are contributing immensely to the community.”
