BVGEC - July 2021 - Summers Here!
BVGEC has taken a bit of a summer break to enjoy some well-deserved rest and what is left of our short mountain summer. We will see you again in September when we will have lots more exciting developments to share!
In the meantime, if there was ever any doubt that what we are doing here is urgent and important, take a look outside your window. The smoke we have been experiencing is blowing in from British Columbia after an unprecedented heatwave sparked numerous fires across BC and Alberta. To date, over 1,500 fires have been recorded in BC, with over 250 alight today. You can support the British Columbia Wildfire Relief Efforts via Canada Helps.
