One investment share costs $50. The minimum investment is $1000 (20 shares). The anticipated rate of return is 2.4%.

The Finance and Administration team has prepared BVGECs 2020 tax documentation ready for submission.
The Communications and Promotions team is working in collaboration with an external consultant to develop ‘story seeds’ as part of a new marketing and communications strategy being crafted to align the co-op’s core messaging with our new energy marketing arm which is currently under development.
The Governance team has been working with the Technology and Business Development Committee reviewing the energy marketer contracts from Utility Net using the resources provided by the Cooperators.
The Membership and Stakeholder Engagement team is managing our Investor engagement process. We currently have 43 Members and 27 Friends. If you know of anyone who might be interested in joining BVGEC as a Friend, Member or Investor, please take a moment to share who we are and what we are doing with them!
The Fundraising team is working on a number of potential exciting grant opportunities as we move into the Fall. Watch this space for exciting updates!
The Project Development committee is awaiting confirmation of the installation date of the bi-directional meter for our first community-funded solar installation at Ralph Conner United Memorial Church. We hope to celebrate the official switch-on event with the community in September!
